Skanska Property Poland has sold the fully leased Green Towers office complex in Wroclaw to one of Poland’s largest financial companies for €64 million.

Green Towers is a new office complex in Wroclaw with a total leasable area of 23,300 sqm, developed by Skanska Property Poland. Skanska invests €32 million (approx. SEK 280 million), in the first phase of the Kapelanka 42 office project located in Cracow, southern Poland.

The construction contract is worth €26 million, which is included in order bookings for the third quarter 2012. This is the first project carried out by Skanska Property Poland in the Cracow region. On the 30th of August 2012, The Upper Silesian Industrial Park in Katowice (GPP) opened Poland’s first energy-efficient building with the tri-generation system. The state-of-the-art building was named "Goeppert-Mayer” in memory of Maria Goeppert-Mayer, a Nobel laureate in physics born in Katowice.

SEGRO has completed the acquisition of Ozarow Business Centre, a logistics park in Warsaw, for €14.1 million, from the Endurance Real Estate Fund, managed by ORCO Property Group S.A.

In an agreement signed on 30 August 2012 the BPT Optima real estate investment fund has sold its single largest asset, the Twarda Tower in Warsaw, Poland, to London-based Europa Capital.

The tower was originally acquired in July 2008 as part of a large sale-and-lease back transaction with Telekomunikacja Polska S.A. (TP SA). CA Immo and Pramerica Real Estate Investors, who each hold a 50 percent share in the Warsaw Financial Center, have agreed to sell their share. The sales price for the whole stake is around €210 million.
