11:03 Skanska sells Green Towers in Wroclaw | |
Skanska Property Poland has sold the fully leased Green Towers office
complex in Wroclaw to one of Poland’s largest financial companies for
€64 million. Green Towers is a new office complex in Wroclaw with a total leasable area of 23,300 sqm, developed by Skanska Property Poland. The first of two ten-storey buildings was completed in March 2012, whereas the other is scheduled for completion in January 2013. Cushman & Wakefield advised Skanska Property Poland on the deal. "We are very proud of Green Towers. The complex has been fully leased before completion and sold before the second building was commissioned for use. Additionally, the already completed building A is the first LEED Platinum certified office project in Poland. We are happy to see that our buildings are a desired investment target and that Wroclaw proves to be an attractive destination for investors,” said Waldemar Olbryk, President of Skanska Property Poland. The Green Towers complex is fully leased, with the biggest lease contract signed for 14,400 sqm. Tenants include Ernst & Young, Allegro Group, Dolby, BD Europe and Medicover Group. Colliers International manages the complex. Green Towers features a number of sustainable solutions, which earned the already completed building A of the complex the first in Poland LEED Platinum certificate for new buildings. The complex has been equipped with state of the art green technologies ensuring considerable energy and water savings. That translates into significant economies for the tenants, at the same time enhancing the investment value of the property. Conveniently located in the proximity of Wroclaw’s Old Town, with excellent access to public transport and easy access to the main railway station and the local airport, Green Towers was the second office investment by Skanska Property Poland in Wroclaw, following Grunwaldzki Center completed in 2009 and sold in 2010. The third project, Green Day, is already underway with the cornerstone laid in October 2012. Another office project in Wroclaw by Skanska Property Poland is Dominikański, currently in the planning phase. Source: europaproperty.com
