The first supermarket of the chain "Perekrestok” was opened at street Suvorov Street in Kaluga on November 30, 2011.
The trade area of the store is 800 sq. m. According to Retailer.ru, 25 stores "Pyaterochka” work in the Kaluga region now(in Kaluga, Obninsk, Kirov, Balabanovo, Kozielsk, Kondrovo, Kremenki, Ludinovo, Maloyaroslavets, Sosenskoe and the village of Tovarkovo). X5 Retail Group plans to expand its presence in the region.

Finnish grocery store Prisma opened ninth store in St. Petersburg in the shopping center "Warsaw Express”.
The new supermarket of the corporation SOK is located on 2,200 sq. m. The total area of SEC "Warsaw Express” is 34000 sq. m. The investments into store’s opening were 5 ml euro. The company will open three- four new supermarkets and hypermarkets in the city during 2012, but in the long term the chain Prisma will include 20-30 stores, "Kommersant” reports. <
