The October RICS/Ci Portuguese Housing Market Survey (PHMS) shows a further deterioration in demand, supply confidence and prices. The National Confidence index fell from -53 to -60 and the National Price balance improved marginally from -65 to -64, but remains deeply negative.

Pramerica Real Estate Investors and Paris Inn Group announce that they have formed a new joint venture company to invest in Paris hotels and that they have acquired the JV’s two first hotels for more than €30 million.

Investec Property, part of Investec plc, has completed the acquisition of a national distribution facility in Greater Manchester for £10.8 million (approx. €12.5 million). The 221,517-ft² (approx. 20,500-m²) property is part of Agecroft Commerce Park, a prime manufacturing and distribution center, located 3 miles northwest of Manchester.
