State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ), has recently announced its third real estate investment, with the purchase of Gallery Actor, a mixed-use office and retail complex located in Moscow’s central business district at 16 Tverskaya Street for USD133 million. The seller was Metropolitan Insurance Group, part of VTB Group.

Skanska Property Poland has sold the fully leased Green Towers office complex in Wroclaw to one of Poland’s largest financial companies for €64 million.

Green Towers is a new office complex in Wroclaw with a total leasable area of 23,300 sqm, developed by Skanska Property Poland. The first of two ten-storey buildings was completed in March 2012, whereas the other is scheduled for completion in January 2013. Cushman & Wakefield advised Skanska Property Poland on the deal. ... Skanska invests €32 million (approx. SEK 280 million), in the first phase of the Kapelanka 42 office project located in Cracow, southern Poland.

On the 30th of August 2012, The Upper Silesian Industrial Park in Katowice (GPP) opened Poland’s first energy-efficient building with the tri-generation system. The state-of-the-art building was named "Goeppert-Mayer” in memory of Maria Goeppert-Mayer, a Nobel laureate in physics born in Katowice.

Yareal Polska, the developer of Oxygen Park, a class-A office building, has secured finance for the project. Oxygen Park, with a total lettable area of approx. 18,300 m² is located on Jerozolimskie Avenue in Warsaw.
The development will hold the BREEAM ecological certificate.
