| In AZIMUT Hotel St. Petersburg, the hotel chain AZIMUT has launched the
first stage of a comprehensive renovation program. In the course of the
program, rooms, public areas and conference halls will be renovated. The
hotel won’t be closed to guests during the renovation. Works are
conducted in separate modules and cause no inconvenience to guests. Within the first stage, which is expected to end this June, there will be renewed rooms and public areas in the east wing of the building with a total area 4,400 sqm. All project works is going to be carried out by construction company STEP. Investments to the first stage of the project will amount 140 million roubles. Guests will be offered a new standard of AZIMUT room, which will be subsequently implemented in all chain hotels. Architectural concept was created by German bureau Bruzkus Batek, which has been working for hospitality industry on European market since 2007. A new room design offers to guests a modern level of comfort. Convenience and cosines are ensured by usage of high technologies and advanced materials. AZIMUT Hotel St. Petersburg joined AZIMUT Hotels in 2006. The second largest hotel in the city offers 1,000 comfortable rooms of different categories, two restaurants, seven conference halls and panoramic AZIMUT Sky Bar & Lounge on the 18th floor with magnificent views of the northern capital. AZIMUT Hotel’s General Director Remco Gerritsen, commented: "This is the first comprehensive renovation of the hotel since its construction. The building will be completely renewed by 2013.
