Raven Russia has signed with the
company "Danone-Unimilk” pre-lease 11.5 sq. m of areas in the logopark
"Klimovsk”, located in Podolsk area of Moscow region. The distribution center GC "Danone-Unimilk” will be opened in the second
phase of the logopark "Klimovsk” at the end of 2011. As part of the
distribution center provides storage and office spaces of A class. The
complex in Klimovsk will be the first and the largest warehouse of A
class which the group of companies rented in Russia and CIS countries
after the business consolidation of Danone and Unimilk in late 2010.
The company Raven Russia adapts the building to meet the specific requirements of the tenant. Over 70% of storage space will be equipped with cold storage to store food produced by "Danone-Unimilk” in the Moscow region. Raven Russia investments in additional improvements of the warehouse will be about 4 ml dollars. "We have decided to consolidate the logistics of the company in the Moscow region under a single distribution center in Klimovsk. This step will allow us to optimize the delivery of goods from the region in Moscow”, - Pavel Isaev, the director of logistics and supply GC "Danone-Unimilk” said. According to Alexander Katsegorov, the Deputy Director of the warehouse property of Knight Frank, about 40% of contracts for leases closed in the Moscow region since 2011 fell on the southern direction. "The logopark "Klimovsk” is one of the few projects of A class in this area, which will hit to the market in early 2012”, - he said. The logopark "Klimovsk” is located on the site of 18 ha in Podolsk area of Moscow region. The highway that connects the track M2 and Warsaw highway is near the complex. The distance to MKAD is 21 km, and to Moscow Small Ring - 3.5 km. The first phase of the logopark "Klimovsk” with the area 54000 sq. m was commissioned in 2009 and currently it is fully leased to the companies Gradient, Gates, FCS, Alliance Healthcare and others. The area of the second phase will be 55000 sq. m; the cost of investment in its construction is more than 40 ml dollars.
